7:00 PM - 8:30 PMCongregation Neveh Shalom - Stampfer Chapel

Join us in-person* at Congregation Neveh Shalom as Israel360 presents a lecture with renowned documentary and fine art photographer, Paul Margolis, to discuss his exhibit: Israel Impressions. This show consists of stunning black-and-white photographs of Jews, Christians, and Muslims in Israel, showing merchants, fishermen, rock festivals, and other compelling scenes that capture the vibrancy of daily life in Israel.

Mr. Margolis will also conduct a Q and A about:
•    his use of black and white film rather than digital,
•    his personal connection to Israel,
•    and his approach to documentary photography.

He has exhibited and presented his photographs on the East and West Coast of the U.S., as well as in France and Israel.

Articles on Margolis’ photography of Israel have appeared in many venues, including The Times of Israel, the LA Jewish Journal, the JWeekly, and, most recently in Israel21C: http://www.israel21c.org/revealing-israel-in-black-and-white/.

*Please note that this program will be in-person only (no online viewing option). Neveh Shalom's covid-safety protocol requires that all who are eligible be vaccinated and masks are optional and welcomed. Physically-distanced seating will be provided.
