Wednesday, October 29, 2025 • 7 Cheshvan 5786
7:00 PM - 8:30 PMCNSCongregation Neveh Shalom & the Jewish Federation of Greater Portland welcomes Dr. Dean P. Bell, President & CEO of Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning & Leadership, to our community! He will share his expertise and lead our community in an important learning session.
This interactive session will contextualize contemporary antisemitism and examine a range of approaches to addressing it. We will consider real-world case studies to help participants strengthen communication (especially during times of crisis), set priorities for their work in this area, and collaborate more effectively in their organizations and across their communities. We will focus on developing clear theories of change, identifying impactful strategies, and evaluating their effectiveness to combat antisemitism.
There’s no universal solution for antisemitism, making it essential for Jewish communal professionals and lay leaders to work together strategically and in a variety of ways.
This event is open to the community. Refreshments will be served.
