7:00 PM - 9:00 PMCongregation Neveh Shalom, Stampfer ChapelAs we approach Pesach and recall our journey from slavery to freedom, OCTOBER H8TE, by Emmy-winning filmmaker Wendy Sachs and actress Debra Messing, confronts us with a modern-day struggle against hatred that has resurfaced with chilling force. This urgent documentary exposes the shocking rise of antisemitism in America following the October 7th Hamas massacre, from the hijacking of social justice movements to the harassment of Jewish students on elite campuses.
At a time when freedom, truth, and safety are under assault, this film challenges us to uphold the very values Pesach celebrates—liberation from oppression, the courage to speak out, and the responsibility to ensure that the lessons of our past guide us in securing our future.
