We’ll meet at roundabout at the Lower MacLeay Park in the parking lot to begin our hike along Balch Creek past the Witch’s Castle. Once we reach the bridge over the creek, we’ll talk about the Rosh Hashanah tradition of tashlikh & get a chance to practice this ritual together. Instead of breadcrumbs, seeds, or stones, we will be using an environmentally friendly cellulose paper that dissolves in water. Please wear comfortable hiking clothes & shoes. Bring light snacks & water!
